The Hong Kong Science Festival is one of the largest science promotion events in the city. This year, Pro-Act Training and Development Centre (Electronics) is hosting a game booth called the "Human-Machine Sync Challenge". This activity offers participants an exciting experience as they compete against robots.
Players and robotic arm will operate a metal rod and travel in a specific groove path to complete the game at the same time. The objective of game is to complete the course with the "minimal touch errors" and "shortest operation time". Although the game design is simple and intuitive, it is very challenging.
The activity aims to give participants a hands-on experience of the differences and competition between human and robots. Participants not only observe the contrast between human flexibility and machine stability, but they also deepen their understanding of artificial intelligence and automation technologies.
