Fong Man Hei, a Diploma of Vocational Education (Artificial Intelligence and Robotics) student who switched to the Teen’s Programme in junior secondary to reignite his motivation, went on to distinguish himself in a territory-wide competition, winning the ERB Outstanding Award for Trainees 2025–26 at the ERB Annual Award Presentation Ceremony.
The award draws nominations from ERB-recognised institutions and honours exemplary VPET trainees through rigorous assessment of training performance, skills application, professionalism, attendance, and commitment to continuous learning. Rising above a strong cohort, Man Hei impressed the judges with consistent practical excellence and a growth mindset. His success highlights both his dedication and the quality of training that prepares students for industry.
