General Enquiries

Youth College offers full-time post-secondary 3 Diploma of Vocational Education (DVE) and Diploma of Vocational Baccalaureate (DVB) programmes. Applicants must have completed Secondary 3 or possess an equivalent qualification.
In addition, the College offers full-time post-secondary 6 Diploma of Vocational Education programmes. Applicants must have completed Secondary 6 or possess an equivalent qualification.

For full-time DVE / DVB programmes at post-Secondary 3 level, the typical duration of study is three years. Students who have completed Secondary 6 may also apply for these programmes; however, the duration of study remains three years.
For full-time DVE programmes at post-Secondary 6 level, the typical duration of study is one year.

With the exception of certain designated modules, the medium of instruction for the Diploma of Vocational Education (DVE) programme is Chinese (Cantonese), while the Diploma of Vocational Baccalaureate (DVB) programme is conducted in English.

For full-time post-Secondary 3 DVE/DVB programmes, Secondary 3 and Secondary 4 graduates will be granted tuition credits to offset the tuition fees. These credits are generally equivalent to a tuition exemption of three years and two years of study respectively.  For full time post-secondary 6 DVE programmes, tuition fees are payable in two installments.

Please note that the tuition fees are subject to annual review.

The Diploma of Vocational Education (DVE) and Diploma of Vocational Baccalaureate (DVB) programmes offered by Youth College have been accredited by the Hong Kong Council for Accreditation of Academic and Vocational Qualifications. Some programmes are also recognized by relevant government departments and meet the academic requirements for applying for professional licenses.

Admission Application

Applicants may submit their applications via the VTC Web-based Admissions System.  Within the system, applicants can submit or update their programme choices, enter their academic qualifications, and upload qualifications / supporting documents.  Alternatively, applicants may download the application form from the VTC Admission Homepage.  Completed forms may be mailed to the Youth College at the following address: 46 Tai Yip Street, Kowloon Bay, or submitted in person at any Youth College campuses.

Applications for full time post-secondary 3 DVE and DVB programmes normally open in January every year.  For further details, please visit the Admission Homepage.
Application for full-time post-secondary 6 DVE programmes open in November each year.  Applicants can submit their applications via VTC S6 Admission Portal.

After applicants have successfully submitted their application forms along with the required supporting documents, the Youth College will process the applications and notify applicants of any subsequent interview arrangements in due course.

Applicants who hold Mainland or other non-local academic qualifications may apply for DVE/DVB programmes.  All such applications will be subject to individual assessment by the relevant department.  Applicants are required to provide the necessary information and upload copies of their academic transcripts when submitting their applications.

The student may consider enrolling in the "Teen’s Programme".  Holders of the "Teen’s Programme" certificate may apply for the Diploma / Certificate programmes offered by Youth College, subject to the interview results.  For the latest registration details, please visit the "Teen’s Programme" website or call 3519 1808 for enquiries.
